A few years ago I slapped 500 lbs on a leg press machine, and did a few reps. I barely felt a thing.
On the other hand, my best one rep squat max is only about 350 lbs.
It is possible to move vast weights on a leg press machine because IT IS A MACHINE. That said, there is no way that Pat presses 2,000 lbs.
And I'm a Republican.
