"It was an amazing sight to see the robot in my lab move, knowing that it was being driven by signals from a monkey brain at Duke," said Touch Lab director and co-researcher Mandayam Srinivasan. "It was as if the monkey had a 600-mile- (950-km-) long virtual arm."

Just imagine a monkey with a 600-mile long arm, virtual or otherwise. It's pretty fucked up. And what the Hell is going on with the monkey meme, anyway? It's taking over my delicately built nerd world. Oh monkey you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, hey monkey.....

Thanks to George and Matt respectively for the above.
